Teletubbies performing Missy Elliott’s “Get Ur Freak On” is both cute and freaky

Recently, we were all shookt when we discovered the disturbing truth about the actual height of the Teletubbies. And just when we thought their height would be peak weirdness for 90s and noughties kids, here comes a very peculiar — yet adorable — video of them singing Missy Elliott’s “Get Ur Freak On”.

Apparently, someone with superb editing skills decided to make a mashup of Teletubbies and Get Ur Freak On to make it look like they’re actually performing the song. And holla, it was so flawlessly edited, you’d probably want to see the Teletubbies perform this in real life (‘cause we do)!

But YouTube user Robert Jones, the man behind the viral video, isn’t the only one who has blessed us with videos of our favorite childhood characters taking a shot at performing pop songs. Sesame Street does swag in this video of a handful of Muppets characters singing Bone Thugs-n-Harmony’s “Crossroads”.

Seems like it’s going to be hard to NOT picture the Teletubbies when we hear Get Ur Freak On because some things simply cannot be unseen.
