Our moms always have their own way of disciplining us and making sure we learn our lessons — even if that means they have to send us a package full of trash we were supposed to take out.
This is what happened to Connor Cox, an 18-year-old student of Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA, who received a “care package” from his mom, Terri. Just like any other package, he felt pure excitement to open the one from his mom because “…there’s nothing better than receiving mail from home,” Connor told Popsugar.
He was shocked when he opened the box and saw not a package full of love from his mom, but garbage. A package full of garbage, to be exact.

It turned out that what his mom sent him was trash he was supposed to take out when he was home during the holidays. Connor said he believes it was his mom’s way of teaching him “a lesson regarding responsibility”. He also added that pulling this kind of prank isn’t really surprising from his mom who’s always had a great sense of humor.
As if his mom wasn’t victorious enough yet, Connor’s sister tweeted that their mom was also feeling “very proud of herself”! Well, who wouldn’t when you just owned your son with some savagery and taught him his lesson?
Actually it was the trash you left on your floor. she was v proud of herself hahaha

Jeez, Connor! When mom says “take out your trash,” you take out your damn trash.
