The newest Power Rangers trailer gets a Mighty Morphin makeover

A YouTube user, Sebastian Hughes, re-made clips from the 2017 trailers of the live action film Power Rangers with the original theme song from the 90’s Mighty Morphin Power Rangers television series which brings with it a bit of nostalgia as you hear that catchy line, “Go, go, Power Rangers!”

Dean Israelite, the director of the newest reboot of Power Rangers, promises that the film would be “mature but still playful” and will be edgier than the previous films (rated PG) as it has been rated PG-13.

The latest film stars Bryan Cranston as Zordon, the mentor of the Power Rangers, whom he selected to protect Angel Grove from the sorceress Rita Repulsa, played by Elizabeth Banks. The line-up for the five superheroes had been announced with Dacre Montgomery as Jason Scott or Red Ranger Jason, Naomi Scott as Kimberly Hart or Pink Ranger, RJ Cyler as Billy Cranston or Blue Ranger, Becky G as Trini or Yellow Ranger, and Ludi Lin as Zack or Black Ranger.

Catch these guys kick some ass in theaters on March 2017.
