Being a parent has to be one of the toughest jobs in the world. Imagine working and tending to your kids 24/7 without expecting anything in return — except maybe for them to finish their plate or make the grade in school. Our parents are not only the most patient people we know, they are also some of the most loving and caring people you will ever have in your life.
McDonald’s Philippines served us again with another heartwarming ad focused on the unconditional love and support parents have for their children, no matter how weird and “sablay” they might be.

The ad features a montage of children being silly, set to a charming rework of “Hari ng Sablay.” The lyrics: “Minsan ako’y sumasablay. Minsan hindi makasabay. Mahal pa rin ni Nanay at Tatay…” perfectly describe how important it is to have parents who are always there for their children, ready to cheer them on even in failure.
With almost 900 thousand views on Facebook alone, parents praised the ad and shared their own stories about their kids.
McDonald’s latest video will make anyone feel nostalgic and remind you of all the crazy things you did as a kid… or make you say “Awww” as a parent.
