MANILA, Philippines – After 2 very successful book signing events in Metro Manila, and Cebu, Kryz Uy officially launched her book with a private screening of Rogue One: Star Wars in the VIP Cinema of Robinsons Movieworld, Cebu.
“I chose Cebu and a movie screening as a launch because it’s my way of saying thank you to friends and family who have supported me through this whole journey. I handpicked the whole team that helped me with my book, and they are all from Cebu. I wanted to show the world that there is so much untapped potential in my hometown,” Kryz said.
It was such a giddy afternoon for those who attended the book launching of Behind the Blog as Kryz gamely took selfies and signed autographs for the fans. Going from virtual posts to tangible paperback, Kryz Uy wrote this casual guide to her seemingly glamorous trade. “This isn’t a clip show of material I’ve published online. It’s a collection of thoughts, fears, hopes and dreams throughout the years that I’d probably never tweet out. It’s stress-eating and heartbreak, inner battles, and triumphs that I’m sure every modern girl with a goal has had,” Kryz stated.
