The ultimate electronic dance music festival, Road to Ultra, electrified Manila for another night of revelry and fiery beats with some of the biggest names in the EDM scene. Local and international DJs rocked the house with their spins and remixes that kept the crowd dancing and partying amidst the fete of lights and sounds last Saturday, September 17, at the Mall of Asia Arena.
The festival kicked off with cool spins from Jessica Milner, Raiden, and former child star Tom Taus. The Fil-Am DJ Tom Taus hyped the crowd as they danced to his remix of Vegas by Alvaro, Lil Jon & Jetfire.
Further fueling the party-atmosphere was Dutch artist DJ MOTi with his heady beats and remixes.
Things got very heated when Dutch house DJ and producer Fedde Le Grand, stepped onto the stage with “Put Your Hands Up 4 Detroit.”
Los Angeles-based DJ Jauz rocked the house and made his first time in Manila hard to forget.
The partyphiles went wild and crazy as Swedish DJ and producer Alesso fired up the decks with “Under Control” and “Heroes.”
Capping off the night was DJ and record producer Tiestö as he got the crowd to “…look at the stars…” with his remix of Coldplay’s Yellow.
