#DamaTheRepeat, Sold Out! Johnoy Danao, Ebe Dancel and Bullet Dumas ready for their 2nd Music Museum show

SOLD OUT

It’s official: You can now add #DamaTheRepeat in the long list of achievements that Johnoy Danao, Ebe
Dancel, and Bullet Dumas reaped as folk-pop ensemble, 3D. Produced by Vandals On The Wall and Gabi Na Naman Productions, Damá: The Repeat is their second sold-out show this year, a follow-up to the post-Valentine’s concert held last February 19, 2016.

Just like the first one, the repeat concert will feature the acclaimed singer-songwriters for a night of soaring, heartfelt anthems on July 24, Saturday at the Music Museum. They will be joined once again by The Manila String Machine.

Second Time’s A Charm
The repeat concert will surely be one for the books as the power trio promises to deliver captivating and resonant performances that aim to challenge the first one in terms of prestige and musicality. More songs in their repertoire will be rearranged with a 7-string section and a percussion in the background, taking the ambition up a notch without losing the warm, stripped-down quality of their songs.

Damá Background
The first Damá concert was sold out a week before the show, and earned rave reviews from notable music press and concertgoers. 3D’s sold-out show struck a chord with online music authority

Bandwagon Asia, emphasizing that “it was an emotional night for both the audience and the musicians, pouring their hearts out for every song, every line, every chord.” Pop culture website When In Manila published a glowing review, praising Damá for its breathtaking intimacy: “Married with the unmistakable voices and exceptional lyrics of Danao, Dancel, and Dumas, it becomes magic. It becomes an experience.”

The concert was met with a 2-minute standing ovation from the audience after the trio performed
Sugarfree’s “Burnout” and Rivermaya’s “Panahon Na Naman” together in one stage. Its hashtag #DamaTheRepeat trended on Twitter Philippines for a duration of 25 minutes.

Individual Performances
Aside from the surprise collaborative numbers, 3D’s individual performances will leave the audience wanting for more. Their accomplishments as solo artists are more than enough to get everyone excited.

Early this year, Ebe Dancel debuted on the top spot of every major record outlet nationwide with the release of his solo album, Bawat Daan under under Star Music. Johnoy Danao recently bagged Best Performance by a Male Recording Artist and Best World Music Recording at the 28th Awit Awards. The singer-songwriter best known for songs “Ikaw at Ako” and “Dapithapon” is currently on the studio, recording new songs for his follow-up release. Fresh from his well-received duet with Gary Valenciano at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Bullet Dumas is now signed under Stages Talents—one of the fast-rising talent management agencies in the Philippines.

#DamaTheRepeat is the second of the many planned shows by Vandals On The Wall and Gabi Na Naman
Productions that aim to give homegrown acts an opportunity to make history and be part of something
big.
