Mechanical Engineering Society (MES) unveils their biggest event

In the creation of the Mechanical Engineering Society, the members have continuously strived in their goal of developing camaraderie with their peers. Without sacrificing the integrity of other people, the organization aims to generate proficient and compassionate students which commit to overall development. In line with this, the organization pioneered their biggest event of the year, MES Week.

With more than 41 years of experience, the organization comprehends that individuals have different aptitudes and specialties which causes individuality and uniqueness where in some cases, students get lost in the process of figuring themselves out. To help these students, the organization aims to unite people and their passions by broadening horizons this June 25, 2018 to June 30, 2018. Through this event, students will be more active in terms of seeking an opportunity to help make the country a better place for everyone.

This year’s MES Week will consist of several activities, specifically plant tours, an internship fair, different technical workshops, and to cap it off, a party. These activities aim to involve the members of the organization to different fields in Engineering and to a diverse set of corporate partners as well. Finally, the organization hopes that this activity will give its members a greater understanding of themselves and of others.
