Big news to Jenny Han’s readers! Surely you guys have waited long enough for a movie adaptation of To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before trilogy and finally here it is in the making.
The story follows a 16-year-old girl named Lara Jean who keeps love letters which are not given to her but actually written by her for every guy who has stolen her heart in her teenage years. For so long it was meant as a secret from them until one day, she found out that each of the letters were mailed to these guys.
Through her twitter post, Jenny Han surprised her readers that a movie is in the works and the cast already started filming!

Our dearest author even expressed her heartfelt thoughts about casting three Asian American girls to act as our beloved Song sisters. Of course she doesn’t want to change the race of her characters regardless of the fact that many Hollywood films cast Americans for an Asian role instead of real Asian actors. Therefore whitewashing will not be an issue here because even though the actress is not a Korean-American, Lana Condor who will portray Lara Jean Song Covey is still an Asian of Vietnamese descent. Isn’t it great to see that Asian-American actors are getting the opportunity they deserve?

Aren’t they your ultimate sibling goals? You can’t deny how adorable they are as sisters! Who wouldn’t be excited to see their sisterly bond on screen!
And how can we forget our dream guy, Peter Kavinsky, who will be portrayed by Noah Centineo. Especially when he gets to be all cuddly with Lara Jean like this? Too much feels in one photo!

Other casts include John Corbett as Dr. Covey, Israel Broussard as Josh and Andrew Bachelor as Greg. The screenplay was written by Sofia Alvarez and directed by Susan Johnson.
