Adobomall: the latest online shopping platform you’ve got to try

Adobomall: the online shopaholic’s new BFF!

Love online shopping? You’re going to want to pay attention.

Last October, a new online shopping platform called Adobomall was launched. How is it different from the platforms we already have and use? Walt Young, President and CEO of Adobomall.com, says:

The first in the country to offer Filipinos with Real Online Shopping experience – no resellers, no fake accounts, all products are guaranteed to be 100% authentic, delivery period takes less than one week, and we have a visual storefront where you can go directly to the brand that you are looking for without the nuisance of other items you don’t need. Now that’s the experience that Filipinos deserve.

E-commerce was born under the goal of providing ease to shoppers, but the current format still hasn’t lived up to the promise of real convenience. Adobomall was created to revolutionize that.

It’s real online shopping; the experience of going to malls is replicated online.

I never thought Adobomall would get this far this quick,” Young said. When it first opened, Adobomall only had 9 brands. Less than half a year later and they are already working with 100 merchant stores, which all went through rigorous screening to certify that they are qualified sellers. Young mentioned that they turn down at least 20% of the requests to sell on their site because these sellers could not provide enough licensing proof. Categories range from clothing and apparel, beauty products, sporting gears, gadgets, home & living, tools and equipment, and even F&B.

Both shopper and brand-friendly, Adobomall changes the traditional “marketplace” model of online shopping by allowing its partner brands to extend their current physical store set-up online. It’s like going straight to your favourite brands’ concept stores without leaving your home. It gives you a clutter-free interface where you can connect directly to your favourite brands – without fuss and worry, and more importantly, without the fear of counterfeit and overpriced products. Young assured that their is no gray market in Adobomall, and that customers will not have any issue with authenticity.

Adobomall has updated the format of shopping to better suit everyone’s fast-paced lifestyle. It boasts of an impressive roster of brands for the shoppers to choose from such as Brooks, Mizuno, Wilson, Lotto, TYR, Folded & Hung, American Tourister, High Sierra, Kamiliant, The Aivee Clinic, Flawless, Aqua Mineral, and Botanifique, with some  premium brands on the way.

“This is the way to go. You can save a lot of time to spend with your family and loved-ones, when you can get the things you need without spending it all stuck on the road,” said Young.

They are currently working on making the online shopping experience as immersive and as real as possible, with changes being made on the interface of their site. When asked about the future of Adobomall, Young teased:

“Think augmented reality. Think virtual reality.”

Young said that they want to make Adobomall as real a mall as they can. Right now they already have restaurants. Eventually, he said, they will put up a food court and a movie service like a cinema.

They are also currently making their services more accessible for everyone. A mobile app is currently in review at the Apple app store, and an app for Adroid is in the works. The mode of payment right now is through credit card and over-the-counter prepaid options, but for those who prefer Cash-On-Delivery, that option will also be made available depending on the merchant stores.

If you’ve been burned once or twice by sketchy resellers in other online shopping platforms, Adobomall is the perfect antidote for you. You can check out it here.
