The hottest singing competition on television is back for its 12th season, as The Voice U.S. returns with a live season-debut on Tuesday, February 28, exclusively on Star World.

Bannered under the FOX Networks Group (FNG), the three-time Emmy winning talent showcase resumes its quest for the next singing sensation, selected from a pool of the best amateur singers from all over the United States.

Since 2011, participants have been subjected to a series of rigorous performances, highlighted by the show’s nerve-racking “blind auditions”.

The selected ones will then be taken under the wing of the brightest personalities in the music industry—including this year’s judges Adam Levine, Alicia Keys and last year’s winning coach, Blake Shelton.

Season 12 also marks the return of Grammy-award winner Gwen Stefani, taking the spot of Miley Cyrus who will be taking a break from the show.

This year, The Voice promises a much bigger, better and more engaging experience for it’s devoted fanbase, by bringing  in an equally impressive line-up of advisers for each team.

The returning Stefani will be reinforced by non-other than Celine Dion, forming the ultimate femme fatale combination.

The show’s winningest coach, Shelton, will look to continue his team’s dominance (winning in 5 of the first 11 seasons) as he pairs up with fellow country music singer, Luke Bryan.

Forming perhaps the best-looking duo on the show, Levine partners with the swoon-worthy tunes of John Legend, which would surely give the the show’s lady audiences something to look forward to.

Keys, meanwhile, collaborates with multi-award winning hip-hop artist and self proclaimed ‘King of Snapchat’ DJ Khaled—who certainly knows a thing or two about what it takes to win.

With all these spectacular additions to The Voice stage, this upcoming season promises to be the best one yet, which could elevate the internationally revered show to even greater heights.

The Voice Season 12 premiere will be shown live on Star World at 2:00 pm, with primetime replays at 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM respectively.
