British woman creates a dress made out of pubic hair

Talk about hair-raising fashion!

Twenty-eight-year-old British designer Sarah Louise Bryan recently revealed her latest creation: a bra and skirt outfit made entirely from pubic hair crowdsourced through her Twitter page.

Yes. Frikkin’ PUBES from random strangers.

According to Bryan, she was inspired to outdo Lady Gaga’s infamous “meat outfit” at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards.

“I really wanted the world’s most unique and disgusting design, so when someone sees a design they know it was me instantly. I thought of the design because of how gross it is. I thought, ‘What would be the worst thing to have on your dress?’”

Her gnarly collection of pubic hair were sent in by thousands of accommodating British men — plus the odd American or two — who mailed their contributions in envelopes.

It took her six months to get enough hair to create the dress which she kept wrapped in cling wrap in her 13-year-old son’s bedroom. The hair were mostly from brunettes, though there are some red and grey pubes in the mix as well.

“I didn’t tell him the truth but he has the whole second floor of the house so it’s a big area, the hardest part was keeping all the hair together in one piece.”

Bryan sterilized the hair then applied it one by one to a pre-cut bra and skirt using hot glue.

While putting the outfit together, she admitted she started gagging. She worked on her creation with an eye mask, breathing mask, and the thickest pair of gloves she could find.

“Because who wants to eat pubic hair?”

While the dress isn’t exactly for sale, the designer said she is willing to sell it but only to a high profile celeb or museum.

“I wouldn’t make any wearable art for anyone unless they are high profile. I want to be exclusive. You can only have one if you are someone.”

So what’s next for Sarah Louise Bryan? Well, just take a look at her recent Twitter post.
