Set It Off premieres music video for “Wild Wild World”

Rude Records’ pop quartet Set It Off is premiering their new music video for “Wild Wild World” on YouTube. The stunning full band acoustic track is a reflection on all of the recent tragedies in the news around the world and features guest appearances in the video from Andy Biersack of Black Veil Brides, Lynn Gunn of PVRIS, Patty Walters of As It Is, and Matt and Trevor Wentworth of Our Last night. Watch it here: https://tinyurl.com/WildWildWorld

When it comes down to it, I feel people are afraid of change and afraid of what the world will become. If we can just open our eyes and see each other as brothers and sisters regardless of sexual orientation and race, then we can take a huge leap forward as a human race. This song “Wild Wild World”, is about my views on what I’ve witnessed recently and is my way of basically pleading with everyone to think twice before making rash decisions or judgments and to try and be the people that make a difference in this world,” shares vocalist Cody Carson. “I want to give a huge thank you to Lynn Gunn, Patty Walters, Matt and Trevor Wentworth, and Andy Biersack for getting behind this song and its message by showcasing a quote relative to this song that means a lot to them. It’s impossible to make a difference alone, it’s when we come together that change truly begins to shed light onto the path we all wish to walk down.

The song comes from the band’s latest releaseDuality: Stories Unplugged, a collection of stripped down, full band, string-infused tracks that was released on June 23.

The Tampa, FL-based outfit is currently on tour with All Time Low, and recently wrapped up the 2015 Vans Warped Tour, where they split their performances between the Journeys Left Foot Stage and the main stages. Following the band’s current tour, they will head overseas to support Mallory Knox on a full UK tour.

Set It Off recently made a special appearance at the Alternative Press Music Awards, where their song “Why Worry” was nominated for two awards: Song of the Year and Best Music Video, and Carson also helped present the award for Best Vocalist to Paramore’s Hayley Williams.
