Santa Monica, CA — As German wunderkind Zedd’s track “Clarity” continues to explode, the 23-year-old artist/producer/songwriter is announcing The Moment of Clarity Tour, a massive fall trek that’ll take him from Montreal to Los Angeles. The 26-date North American jaunt launches August 28th and wraps October 3rd, featuring a set at New York’s Electric Zoo fest plus gigs everywhere from Austin to Alberta, with additional dates to follow.
Says Zedd, “For the past six months, I’ve been working on a light and visual show for my tour. We’ve built tons special content and improved the production day by day, step by step. With the Moment of Clarity World Tour, I want to capture this moment and present it to my fans around the world!”
“Clarity,” the title track from Zedd’s debut album, is swiftly becoming the song of the summer. The track, which features Foxes, has been certified gold and continues to steadily climb the charts, already hitting #13 at Top 40 and #9 on iTunes so far. Jessica Sanchez performed the hit on the season finale of Glee, and it was featured prominently on The Voice. The official video for “Clarity” has racked up more than 14 million YouTube views —if you’re one of the few who hasn’t seen it yet, watch HERE.
Zedd’s huge 2013 is only halfway through, and he’s already turned out must-see performances on The Late Show with David Letterman and Late Night With JimmyFallon, been named an MTV Artist to Watch, been called “the breakout DJ star of 2013” by Billboard, and headlined Ultra Music Festival and MTV’s WoodieAwards. He’ll be performing at HARD Summer 2013, Outside Lands, and all the following fall tour dates. Check out Zedd’s tour preview video HERE.
