Grabbitz shares new double single-video for ‘Teleport/Comedown’

Fresh off his monumental performance with ZeddRezz, and PVRIS at the VALORANT Champions Tour Finals Ceremony in Berlin and the release of this season’s VALORANT theme song “Die For You”, Grabbitz has released his juggernaut double single “Teleport // Comedown” along with a music video double feature. “Teleport // Comedown” are both off of his upcoming album ‘Time Isn’t Real‘, out 22nd April 2022 via Hopeless Records. Conceived as an A-Side / B-Side single, “Teleport” and “Comedown” explore the idea of time and space and warp the mind with the idea of teleporting into another time/world and reconciling with that fate. On the song, Grabbitz shares, “I did the ‘Teleport // Comedown’ double feature because I want to create a world my fans can get lost in.”

The mind blowing music video captures in a visual-effects laden assault to the senses, and is another piece to the ‘Time Isn’t Real’ world and story. On combining the videos, Grabbitz reflects, “I’ve always loved movies and writing stories, so working closely with Mac to execute these has opened up an entirely new outlet of creative expression for me. Combining these videos goes against the ever abundant short-form content being pumped out right now, and I gotta say, I’ll proudly go against the grain for good art. Expect more, bigger and better.”

‘Time Isn’t Real’ isn’t just another album, it’s an experience that’s been the life’s work of genre-bending composer, producer, singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Grabbitz (AKA Nick Chiari). Nick shares, “’Time Isn’t Real’ is the most accurate culmination of all of my influences that I can give up to this point in my life. It’s a collage, if you will, using all the musical materials I’m made of. I placed these materials into a metaphysical museum where anyone and everyone is welcome, from any point in history or the future, to show that music & art can transcend a construct such as time.”

To prove his point, one can just look at the first two singles from the project, “Pigs In The Sky” – the infectious earworm that harkens back to the heyday of 90’s alternative with an exceedingly modern sound, that landed spots on coveted playlists like Spotify Asia’s New Music Friday playlists and 6 Apple Music playlists across 15 territories in Asia, and spawned the electronic-forward VIP mix featuring alternative rock artist, Arrested Youth.

Building off that sound and pushing full throttle into his EDM roots, last month Grabbitz released “Pain Killer” – a song perfect for festival season, to be played far and loud. Transporting fans to the world of ‘Time Isn’t Real’, Grabbitz is building a community and a world for anyone looking to experience music in a deeper, more unexpected way.

Since making his debut in 2014, Grabbitz has transformed from an instrumental EDM producer to one of the most promising voices in pop and alternative rock. He has garnered attention from Rolling Stone and Billboard, and collaborated with heavy-hitters such as One Republicdeadmau5PendulumNGHTMRE, and REZZ (on the chart juggernaut “Someone Else”, which peaked at No. 15 on the Billboard Alternative chart and No. 23 on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Songs chart), all while amassing over 80 million streams to date. “Someone Else” was also certified gold in Canada and earned a Juno nomination for Best Dance Recording.
