Britney Spears still seeks ‘justice’ even after her conservatorship ends

Now that her conservatorship is about to come to an end, Britney Spears has posted another message to her family.

The 39-year-old singer posted a photo of a typewriter on her Instagram on Monday, and in the caption she wrote a message to her family, calling them out for “hurting me deeper than you’ll ever know.”

The singer wrote a rant on her caption about her loved ones seeing her “only when it’s convenient for them” and that she is “tired of being understanding.”

“Don’t you find it weird when you jump through hoops to organize trips or set up lunch dates with people you love only to know they’ll bail on you or leave after 10 minutes ??? It’s humiliating and it’s like every person I’ve ever opened to immediately says they’ll be gone on a trip for two weeks after… OK I get it… they’re only available to me when it’s convenient for them… Well I’m no longer available to them!!! I don’t mind being alone… and actually I’m tired of being this understanding Mother Teresa… if you’re rude to me then I’m done… peace out,” she wrote.

Britney then clearly indicated for whom the message was intended: “This message is for my family… for hurting me deeper than you’ll ever know!”

Britney Spears also said that she wants “justice” even though her conservatorship is about to end. She wrote, “I know the conservatorship is about to be over but I still want justice!!! I’m only 5’4” and I’ve played the bigger person my entire life… do you know how hard that is ???”

Britney has been under conservatorship since 2008, and she has spoken up about the arrangement several times in the past, saying that it is “abusive.” As for her family, Britney has also spoken against them. During a hearing on June 23 of this year, the singer gave a 20-minute testimony sharing details about what she had to endure due to her conservatorship. In her testimony she added that her family didn’t do a “goddamn thing” to help her. She has also said that she hopes to “sue” her family and charge her father with “conservatorship abuse.”

Last month, Britney’s father Jamie Spears filed to end his daughter’s conservatorship. Mr. Spears was also suspended from his role as conservator of her estate — L.A. Country Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny ruled that the arrangement was no longer in Britney’s best interest.

After Mr. Spears was suspended, Britney took to Twitter to thank her fans, particularly the #FreeBritney movement, which is known for raising awareness of Britney’s conservatorship and advocating for the singer’s release from the arrangement.

“#FreeBritney movement … I have no words … because of you guys and your constant resilience in freeing me from my conservatorship … my life is now in that direction !!!!! I cried last night for two hours cause my fans are the best and I know it …” Britney wrote in her tweet. Shortly after posting her message of gratitude, the singer temporarily deactivated her Twitter account.
