Free Throw release fourth full-length album ‘Piecing It Together’

June 29th, 2021 – Singapore – Free Throw’s brand new album ‘Piecing It Together’ is now out Triple Crown Records! The Will Yip-produced album is available for fans to stream here: smarturl.it/freethrow

With ‘Piecing It Together’, their fourth full-length album, Free Throw documents their growth as individuals grappling with hard truths that, with age, become harder to ignore or cover up with an endless string of late nights out drinking with friends. After a decade of hard work, including countless performances worldwide, the members — Cory Castro, Lawrence Warner, Justin Castro, Jake Hughes, and Kevin Garcia — have a fresh perspective on life.

“’Piecing It Together’ is about finding balance between the ups and downs. The realization that you don’t always have to be striving for a better version of yourself, but the truest version of yourself,” says Free Throw. “As a band, we feel like we finally went to a place within ourselves to make a record that is authentic and true to our core. Will Yip helped us take those Free Throw moments and present them in a way we never could and the result is something we are immensely proud of. There’s a little something for everyone in here, and we hope everyone enjoys those moments as much as we enjoyed creating them.”

Throughout the album’s twelve tracks, ‘Piecing It Together’ finds Free Throw abandoning childhood notions of success and happiness through a thorough exploration of personal fulfilment. It’s about reaching the heights that once felt impossible and everything that comes after. How no matter what we do or where we go, we must continue to wake up and find the strength to keep on keeping on despite everything we tell ourselves about ourselves.

‘Piecing It Together’ is an exploration of self-acceptance, and Free Throw invites everyone to join.
