Keeping up with the tradition of a yearly DuLa Salle production, DLSU Harlequin Theatre Guild, the premier and only recognized theatre organization of De La Salle University, presented their 2nd online production entitled DuLa Salle 2k20: Kalooban.
DuLa Salle 2k20: Kalooban was an anthology series consisting of 8 stories that tackle modern Filipino values and social issues through the form of Filipino mythology and epics. The shows were held for 3 days, starting on May 21 and ending on May 22, and was broadcasted via the
Animospace platform and a closed Facebook group. There were over 590 of attendees including students, professors, and guests such as Antonette Go, a member of Tanghalang Filipino, Ferdinand Isleta, Head of the Arts Section at the National Commission for Culture and Arts, Roman Perez Jr., Film Director of Adan and Sol Searching, and Elmer Gatchalian, who was the screenwriter for Born Beautiful.
The event was in partnership with the multi-art organization Pelikulove, founded by Ellen Ongkeko-Marfil, and has offered multiple courses in playwriting like the Rody Vera Online Playwriting Course. The writers for all 8 stories of DuLa Salle 2k20: Kalooban hail from the organization.
