In collaboration with the National Commission of Culture and the Arts (NCCA), University of the Philippines – Math-Physics Society (UPMPS) will hold its second National Math-Physics Photo Essay Contest (NMPPEC) this June 2021.
The NMPPEC is a UPMPS initiative open to both amateur and professional photographers with the goal of developing a scientifically and technologically capable nation.
With the theme, “Crunching the Numbers: Unraveling Mathematics and Physics’ Usefulness in Building an Eco-friendly Environment,” this event promotes interest in photography as well as awareness of the role of mathematics and physics in environmental preservation.
