Adapting to the changes imposed by remote learning, UP Circuit brings the first ever online installment of SquEEEze: The National EEE Competition and Convention, a gathering of the country’s students and professionals in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, on May 22-23, May 29-30, and June 13, 2021.
Now in its 24th year, SquEEEze will have three competitions for senior high school and college students: The High School Quiz Show on May 22-23, the College Quiz Show on May 29-30, and the Technological Design Contest on June 13 — all of which will be held virtually through the online platforms Zoom and Discord.
Moreover, an EEE Virtual Convention will take place on May 22 and 29. Alongside are career talks, as well as workshops on programming and basic circuit programming offered to junior and senior high school students, while there are company and technology talks offered to college students.
This 5-day virtual event is open to all currently enrolled junior and senior high school students, and to all currently enrolled college students under the BS Electrical Engineering, BS Electronics Engineering, or BS Computer Engineering programs.
Established in 1998, SquEEEze is an annual series of workshops and competitions for high school and college students hosted by UP Circuit, an academic organization based in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Institute of the University of the Philippines Diliman.
