De La Salle University Council of Student Organizations (DLSU CSO) will be holding their annual event, Towards Uplifting Knowledge and Leadership Advancement Series (TUKLAS) on April 30, May 8, and May 15, 2021 via Zoom and to be livestreamed on DLSU TUKLAS Facebook page.
The event is a 3-day webinar series with the theme TUKLAS 2021: The Next Set of Leaders that aims to educate the next generation on how they may lead in the future. The talks will be regarding The Power of Information for Day 1, Envisioning the Future for Day 2, and Inclusivity in the Industry for Day 3. TUKLAS 2021 targets more than 11,000 student bodies, 48 CSO organizations, and various participants from other universities. It is expected to reach about 15,000 people aside from approximately 20,000 DLSU students.
DLSU CSO is the union of 48 accredited professional, special interest and socio-civic organizations of DLSU. It was founded in 1974 and has continuously delivered quality student services and has produced outstanding student leaders dedicated to serving and contributing to the Lasallian Community. One of its projects is TUKLAS which is an annual activity for uplifting knowledge and leadership advancement of students.
For this year, the project heads organized talks with topics that will highlight Lasallian Excellence from different notable Lasallian graduate speakers to further tackle leadership and prepare the Generation Z who will be the leaders of the future. This will help the next generation leaders to understand what a true leader should be and be leaders with principles guided by Lasallian core values. TUKLAS 2021: The Next Set of Leaders envisions educated and principled leaders in the future who will lead the next generation into advancement and into a more inclusive society.
