DASH 2021 KAGITINGAN RUN!
This year’s DASH goes VIRTUAL! Be part of a web platform that connects you to countless others across the country, and allows you to run anywhere, anytime. With the freedom to run at your own pace, and with plenty of items in store, DASH 2021 is sure to give you that safe and healthy boost during the pandemic period!
Organized as a virtual charity fun run, this year’s DASH installment is to be held in support of the UP Vanguard Incorporated’s DRRM Initiatives, which aim to help those affected by calamities by providing long-term and sustainable disaster relief.
How will the Virtual Run work?
- Runners register and submit run records using their personal accounts at the DASH website: dash2021.uprotc.org
- Runners may use any GPS-tracking app to submit run records. They may also send treadmill and/or smartwatch records as submissions.
- Runners may submit multiple run records until they complete the distance they registered for.
- Runners run at their own leisure within the prescribed run period.

DASH started off as the “UP ROTC Centennial Run,” jointly organized by the UP ROTC and the UPVI – University Chapter back in 2012 as part of the 100th year celebration of the UP ROTC. DASH became a. annual fun run held every month of April, near the celebration of the Day of Valor.
