The Philippine Daily Inquirer, the country’s largest daily newspaper, together with JobMarket.PH, plans to launch the first-ever National Virtual Careers Super Fair on April 13, 2021. The event will go live on the GradPhilippines.com
In partnership with Prosple, an industry-leading careers and education technology provider, the event is part of the company’s mission to help more graduates get the best start to their careers. Employers are invited to join the pioneer event, which was originally an in-person job fair for more than 20 years under the banner of Job Market Virtual Jobs Fair.

Virtual Career Fairs Fairs for Employers
Virtual career fairs aren’t limited to Q&A sessions and webinars. Employers can maximize the virtual career fair experience by scheduling different activities, including but not limited to:
- Introductory exhibits about the company
- Video presentations (e.g. virtual tour of office premises); and
- Speed interviews, ice-breaker games and other fun activities to engage participants
With these activities, the National Virtual Careers Super Fair will connect employers and fresh graduates in almost the same way as in-person job fairs.
Unlike traditional job fairs where people mostly just submit their CVs and answer interview questions, a unique platform will let them engage in face-to-face meetings, without having physical contact.
A Prosple-Powered Expansion
Inquirer’s partnership with Prosple supports the latter’s mission to help Filipino graduates get the best start in their careers. Prosple has been at the forefront of launching different pioneer events this year.

Digital Recruitment Becoming More Relevant
Inquirer decided to launch the National Virtual Careers Fair because of the COVID-19 pandemic. JobMarket.PH has conducted the career fair at physical venues for the last 20 years.
However, health and safety protocols abruptly changed the recruitment process of most companies in 2020.
