An 18-day campaign to end Violence Against Women towards Women Empowerment and Self-Love

Violence against women is a grave violation of women’s rights and fundamental freedoms. Today, this continues to be one of our country’s perennial social problems, most especially amidst the pandemic.

By virtue of Republic Act 10389, declaring November 25 of every year as National Consciousness Day for the Elimination of VAWC, the ASEAN Youth Organization, in cooperation with Social Business Platform Inc. and in partnership with various organizations and media sponsors, are in collaborative support of 2020’s 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women. Together, we collaboratively aim to raise awareness and eliminate the problem of all forms of violence against women and girls.

Featuring local and international VAW advocates, as well as members of the business community and the academe, tune in for inspiring stories of VAW experiences and movements in efforts of putting an end to this social problem.

This campaign would not be possible without our partners: the Rotary Club of Alabang Madrigal Business Park, Rotaract Club of Alabang Madrigal Business Park, Rotaract ONE ASEAN, JCI Manilena, Kilos Ko Youth; our sponsors: Amarela Philippines, MOVE Zobel, Twilight: Our Empowerment, UP Diliman Gender Office, UPLB Gender Center, Sigma Delta Phi – Los Banos and much more!

On December 12, 2020, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm (Philippine Time), join our interactive forum featuring an exchange of ideas, as we adapt a theme towards Women Empowerment and Self-Love.
