In its 15th year, international youth NGO World Youth Alliance Asia Pacific brings you the Emerging Leaders Conference 2020 entitled In The Pink: Reproductive Health & Its Link To Overall Health.
World Youth Alliance is a global coalition of young people that works to defend the dignity of the human person. It’s a UN-ECOSOC accredited org that works with youth in over 6 regions of the world to impact policy and culture with the promotion of human dignity. Defined as the inherent worth of a person, a freedom guided by one’s dignity is key to sustainable development and understanding the importance of reproductive health.
The Emerging Leaders Conference (ELC) is an annual event hosted by World Youth Alliance Asia Pacific, which seeks to bring together young leaders, active members and youth advocates from across Asia Pacific to interact with thought-leaders and experts on current global issues. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the 2020 ELC will be held via video conferencing.
The theme of the conference this year is Reproductive Health. It follows that a proper foundation of oneself rooted in our dignity, coupled with the proper education about topics like freedom for excellence, is key for women and men to properly take care of their health and make truly informed choices.
Featuring representatives from FEMM health Ginny Miller BSN, RN and Celine Kinneberg, RN, WYA President Lord Pomperada, Theology of the Body specialist Joy Katigbak & ThirdWorldImprov’s Gabe Mercado, this years ELC will surely be an insightful experience to young leaders who are looking to strengthen their knowledge and fine-tune their approach towards reproductive health and its associated issues.
The 2020 Emerging Leaders conference is free of charge and open to all. Sign-up at bit.ly/9thELCAP today! For more questions, feel free to email asiapacific@wya.net
