An indoor getaway: Froshella, a virtual concert to remember

Welcome to La Salle! As De La Salle University opens another academic year, the Council of Student Organizations (CSO) sets the stage for the incoming batch of Lasallians with its annual Frosh Welcoming event, “Froshella.” A lively combination of “Frosh” and the famous American annual music and arts festival, “Coachella,” this music-inspired activity is surely a vibe to remember in this new normal. Happening on October 30, 2020 from 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Bringing the electrifying energy of this annual event from the halls of La Salle to the halls of digital platforms, Frosh Welcoming serves as a means for the incoming ID 120 and the members of the Lasallian community to discover the various university professional and special interest organizations that would surely make their stay in the university exciting.

Featuring the performances of artists from the local scene, the opening beat of the Lasallian student life resounds in the last week of October. The podium is also set as this year’s batch of froshies are given their first “digital” glimpse into the Br. Andrew Gonzalez College of Education, College of Computer Studies, College of Liberal Arts, College of Science, Gokongwei College of Engineering, Ramon V. Del Rosario College of Business, and School of Economics.

The event of a lifetime is about to begin. Beloved froshies, stand up, put your hands in the air, and sing along, ‘cos it’s showtime! Welcome to La Salle!
