UP Radio Circle’s ELEVATE goes online

Fervent in its advocacy for media literacy and responsible media use, UP Radio Circle comes back with its annual student journalism workshop, ELEVATE, now closer than ever.

ELEVATE returns in its ninth installment this year, with the theme “Finding Identity Amid Media Plurality”. Unlike in the past years where the event is held as a one-day workshop, this year’s ELEVATE will be held as a webinar series from October 24 to November 7, 2020, exploring themes and trends in broadcasting, journalism, and the digital media industry.

Because of ELEVATE, UP Radio Circle garnered the “Parangal sa Samahan Ng Mag-aaral”, the highest award given to student-led organizations by the University of the Philippines Diliman in 2018. This stands as a testament to the organization’s commitment to uphold relevance and competence as media practitioners.

UP Radio Circle’s ELEVATE 9: Finding Identity Amid Media Plurality is brought to you by the Union of Journalists of the Philippines – UP Diliman and UP Cinema, in partnership with UP Journalism Club, and its official media partners Inquirer.net, Inquirer Pop, WhenInManila.com, and DZUP 1602.
