A teen from Texas in the United States is going farther than most, thanks to her long legs that are over a meter in lenght.
Maci Currin, 17, is 6’10” and has the world’s longest legs for a female and the longest legs on a teenager. Her left leg is 135.267 cm (53.255 in) and her right leg measures 134.3 cm (52.874 in), Guinness World Records announced on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
Being tall runs in the family — her dad is 6’5” and her brother 6’4” — but Maci is at an extraordinary height even by their standards. She told Guinness World Records that she would grow up to 5 inches every year since her childhood.
Maci wondered if her legs could make a record after getting custom-made leggings. Her mom Traci (who is a relatively short 5’7”) admits that getting her clothes requires much planning since clothing is not made for her size. After doing her research on making a world record, she has made history with her legs.
The high-schooler said she has been bullied for her height, but that she decided to stop caring about it in her sophomore year. She plays volleyball and has 1.7 million followers on TikTok, where some are surprised to find that videos of her long legs are not edited.

“I hope that tall women can see that height is a gift and that you shouldn’t be ashamed that you’re tall,” she told Guinness World Records. “You should really embrace it,”
Maci plans to study in the United Kingdom for university and has her sights set for another record: the world’s tallest professional model. JB
