With only just a few days’ sleep until the premiere, many are surely excited to see all their Marvel favorites on the big screen as they unite in an attempt to defeat the almighty Thanos.
Robert Downey Jr., Benedict Cumberbatch, Karen Gillan, and Joe Russo flew in to Singapore for the “Avengers: Infinity War” Red Carpet Fan Event held at Marina Bay Sands, Monday evening.
Thousands of excited fans queued early Monday at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre for a chance to get a pass for the fan event.
Early last month, it was announced that stars from the hit Marvel franchise will be attending the red carpet event especially organized for the fans. Although registration was scheduled to open at 7 a.m., people came early, with lines sprawling long at the said venue.
Each successful registrant received a wristband which served as their pass to the red carpet event.
The night was warmly received as each of the stellar cast appeared on the red carpet.
One by one, Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange), Karen Gillan (Nebula), and director Joe Russo went up close and personal with the fans.
Selfies and quick handshakes were done, with some even handing out fan art to the stars.

A fan event in Manila was also held last Sunday at SM Megamall wherein the cast of “Avengers: Infinity War” spoke with the audience via live digital interaction.
“Avengers: Infinity War” opens in Philippine cinemas April 25.
