International cosplayer dresses up as Johnny Depp characters for 10 days, wows the internet with jaw-dropping costumes

For everyone who’s followed Johnny Depp’s career, you can all agree that he’s one talented actor with a history of playing iconic characters. From Edward Scissorhands to the Sweeney Todd, Depp has solidified himself as the master of disguise in the film industry. And with this level of commitment in costume design, you’d think that only a team of highly-specialized makeup artists and seamstresses can attain that level of whimsy in real life. But international cosplayer, J Stryker proves that with the right amount of effort and a whole lot of dedication, one man can turn into Johnny Depp (or at least versions of him).

In the social media challenge J Stryker calls “10 Days of Depp,” the cosplayer recreates some of Depp’s most iconic film looks. So far, he’s done the Mad Hatter, Sweeney Todd, Raoul Duke, Cry-Baby, Tonto, George Jung, Willy Wonka and Barnabas Collins — and in each one, he looks like he came straight out of a Tim Burton film! Just take a look:

This isn’t the first time J Stryker has taken on the challenge of bringing legendary film characters to life. Just last month, he’s cosplayed Beetlejuice, Glen and Gomez Addams. He even dressed up as some of our favorite 90s cartoon characters, last August. See if you can recognize which television shows these characters came from:

We’re excited to see what J Stryker comes up with next and here’s to hoping he does Jack Sparrow next on 10 Days with Depp!
