“Step Up: All In” star Parris Goebel to perform at the finals

9 HS DANCE CREWS FACE OFF TO BE THE NEXT “MYX MOVES” CHAMP

Nine remaining contenders rise up to the challenge to be the ultimate dance crew in the upcoming “MYX Moves” Grand Championship 2017, happening at the KIA Theatre on October 14.

MYX music channel’s street dance competition wraps up after months of scouting the best crews in Mega Manila and challenging them to come up with fresh maneuvers to match “MYX Moves” original music. Now, it all goes down to the final showdown between the last three standing crews from three divisions.

The dashing gents of Xavier School, Marist School, and Paco Catholic School limber up for one more testosterone-filled battle in the Boys Division, while the graceful gals of the School of the Holy Spirit, St. Paul College Pasig and Dominican College gear up to reign over the Girls Division. Last but not least, the dance troupes of School of St. Anthony, Colegio San Agustin, and Bulihan National High School compete for greatness over the Co-Ed Division.

The music channel also brings in award-winning dancer, choreographer, and “Step Up: All In” star Parris Goebel and her dance crew, the Royal Family, which won the World Hip-Hop Dance Championship three times in a row.

Parris has worked with huge international artists such as Little Mix, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Nicki Minaj, BIGBANG, 2NE1, iKON, GDragon, Taeyang, and BLACKPINK. She is also behind the choreography of “Sorry” for Justin Bieber, which as of December 2016 is the 3rd most viewed video on YouTube with more than 2 billion views.

The MYX Moves Grand Champion will be rewarded with a whopping P100,000 cash prize, while one dancer with pinnacle strength in body, heart, and soul will be hailed as the “MYX Supreme Mover,” and will be able take home P10,000 in cash.

Witness the battle for street dance supremacy in the “MYX Moves Street Dance Competition” Grand Finals at the KIA Theatre on October 14 (Saturday). Tickets are priced at P350 (VIP), P250 (orchestra), and P150 (loge & balcony) at all TicketNet outlets and at the Smart Araneta Coliseum box office. For inquiries, please call 911-5555.

You may still vote for the MYX Supreme Mover until October 13, 2017 (11:59PM). MYX is on Skycable channel 23. For more information visit www.myxmoves.myxph.com or like www.facebook.com/MYX.Philippines on Facebook.  You can also follow @MYXPhilippines on Twitter or @myxph on Instagram.
