Goblin is finally coming to (Vi)you!

Goblin

South Korean fantasy-drama Guardian: The Lonely and Great God or popularly known as Goblin is finally coming to the Philippine shores.

For many months now, fans have been clamoring for it to be available for more Filipinos. Tagged as one of 2016’s best dramas, Goblin is a combination of good drama with superb technical details and equally amazing story line.

Kim Shin played by Gong Yoo is an immortal goblin and a protector of souls who needs to find his bride to help him return to ashes. The goblin met the Grim Reaper played by Lee Dong-wook whose task is to take the souls of dead people. One day, the two met Ji Eun-tak played by Kim Go-eun who is known to many as the “Goblin’s bride.” She has the ability to see ghosts, and all her life, she was made to believe that she is destined to meet the goblin.

The drama was written by Kim Eun-sook, who also wrote the popular series Descendants of the Sun (2016), Secret Garden (2010), and The Heirs (2013). Eun-sook won the Grand Prize in the  53rd Baeksang Arts Awards for it while Gong-yoo won as the Best actor for his role as Kim Shin/Goblin.

Now, the talked-about series is coming to you via Viu! The video-on-demand app is about to put Goblin in its library together with hundreds of other popular  K-dramas throughout the years.
