Girl in a jacket

This ‘shirt’ is the craziest we’ve seen so far

Last year, we have had our fair share of the weirdest fashion designs — from rompers with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un’s face to one piece swimsuits with US President Donald Trump’s shocked face, and even the endless fashion transformation for our good ol’ pair of jeans. We thought we’ve seen the worst of it all.

But this latest T-shirt design from renowned high fashion brand, Balenciaga, had us all falling from our chairs with awestruck wonder. WHY, Balenciaga? Just WHY?

Called as Balenciaga’s “T-shirt shirt,” this newest addition to their Fall ’18 collection is just a combination of two shirts—a t-shirt and long-sleeves button down polo. But nope, it wasn’t sewn in your usual rugged-look way (plain shirt underneath a checkered polo). Instead, the button down polo is sewn on top of the shirt. What’s more baffling is that it is pretty expensive, too! This double shirt is sold at $1,290 (or PHP 67,825.60). Crazy, right?

A lot of people think so too that they didn’t hesitate to roast the hell out of Balenciaga on Twitter.
