Levity Of Water: Visually delightful, powerfully thought-provoking

MANILA, Philippines – In Levity of Water, Joy Diaz-Teston and Pambie Herrera collaborate in incorporating art and poetry in a space that is visually delightful and powerfully though-provoking. As a budding painter, Diaz-Teston’s rendition of her medium on canvas intimates the amorphous character of water–taking no shape yet beautiful contained in the artist’s perception of her personal space that not many people know about. Herrera, in her avowal, shares verses that have been brewing for decades in the confines of her intimate thoughts creating allusions mostly to water and herself taking shape in shapelessness. Both lawyers, they have this constant itch to carve out a sacred and space–in the dailiness of all things that drown them–a levity that calms their restlessness in a manner that only passion for the art and for the written word can appease. In Levity of Water, they are both ready to reveal and share that piece of their own levity to the world.
