Nowadays it’s hard to keep track of all Korean dramas to watch out for since the Kdrama craze started in the Philippines. You would actually feel left out or out of place in your squad if you haven’t even watched a single Korean drama series yet. Whether you like it or not, it’s considered to be a normal part of the conversation for Millennials already.

But how would you feel if you see people acting like the leading actors and actresses in your favorite Korean drama? Wouldn’t that be funny and hilarious?

These are some parodies based on Kdramas that you might have already watched which will totally complete your day filled with joy and laughter! Here it goes..

LOVE IN THE MOONLIGHT / MOONLIGHT DRAWN BY CLOUDS

Starring Park Bo-gum and Kim Yoo-jung, the “Moonlight Syndrome” about a historical coming-of-age romantic story has spread everywhere in Asia. It was a total hit with its high ratings not just in South Korea but with its run in the Philippine television as well. In fact, it will be shown once again for its avid viewers.

This is the latest viral video of Emman Nimedez after he became an internet sensation with his Goblin parody regarding himself as the “Pambansang Oppa” of the Philippines. Netizens were quite amazed with how he came up with the video yet again.

 

GOBLIN

Regarded as the second highest rated drama in Korean cable television history, Goblin swept every fangirls’ feet even Filipino celebrities like Anne Curtis. Its lead stars whose fans thought of as “powerhouse” team because it was starred with famous Korean personalities like Gong Yoo, Kim Go-eun, Lee Dong-wook, Yoo In-na, and Yook Sung-jae.

Emman Nimedez initially took the internet by storm with his first Korean drama parody which caught the attention of several netizens especially Korean drama fans. But Nimedez did not just made his viewers laugh, he even received praises and positive responses with the video’s cinematography and his editing skills.

 

DESCENDANTS OF THE SUN

You might not have any access to television or internet if you still haven’t known this Korean drama series yet. Because even when it has long been aired since 2016, many Kdrama fans still haven’t gotten over it. It is filled with action, romance and melodrama about a male soldier and a female medical doctor who found love with each other despite the odds and hindrances off and on cam. Many even request a season 2 up to this day. Its lead stars, Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo, are even scheduled to wed this October.

This is not the first time that the South Korean version of sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live recreates scenes from popular Korean television series in a realistic yet funny setting. Therefore it’s no surprise if they made hilarious spoofs for DOTS that will crack you up.

 

WEIGHTLIFTING FAIRY KIM BOK JOO

Despite receiving averaged single-digit audience rating when it was aired in South Korea, it was loved by many young international fans even to the point of adapting the infamous hairstyle and fashion of Kim Bok Joo (Lee Sung Kyung) and going crazy over Jung Joon Hyung’s actor, Nam Joo Hyuk. It is a fun, light-hearted drama to watch for teenagers.

Leo Jeong is a Korean YouTube sensation who joined the “Do You Like Messy?” & “Swag” bandwagon and made many parody videos about the series.
