The new South Korean President’s thunder has just been stolen by his security guard.
When South Korea swore Moon Jae-in as their new president, it hit the headlines. After the tumultuous and scandalous reign of the former president, President Moon Jae-in is surely a breath of fresh air for all the citizens of South Korea.
But it’s not only President Moon that’s been hitting the headlines lately. His good looking bodyguard has taken the internet by storm as well.
A Twitter user, Elena Yip, posted photos of the handsome bodyguard and it instantly went viral with over 25K retweets and 56K likes.

The president’s bodyguard, Choi Young-jae, is said to be part of President Moon’s “handsome brigade” a term coined by South Korean media.
Other photos that were released due to clamor on the internet will make you think this guy’s an actor from a Korean set.
But he is really not.
In fact, he was an officer from Korea’s Special Warfare Command and is married with two daughters. (We can hear hearts breaking! Sorry ladies!)
Nevertheless, we cannot help but thank President Moon for introducing another eye-candy to the internet. With the rate of how Choi’s growing fandom reacted, it seems he is the one who may need a bodyguard!
