FPLA sheds light on the art of photography with Sara Black workshop

MANILA, Philippines – A picture paints a thousand words, and through one image, renowned photographer Sara Black helps you tell entire stories.

A brilliant creative and a force in the industry, Sara takes her years of expertise as a photographer and model to guide participants through the process of understanding and taking great photos. In “Seeing the Light,” the upcoming photography workshop by First Pacific Leadership Academy (FPLA), the first corporate university in the country established by Chairman Manuel V. Pangilinan, Sara gives participants a more technical understanding of portraiture and lighting techniques. Lighting and composition become the focus of the workshop as “without light, photography cannot exist.”

The one-day workshop covers all the fundamentals of photography, including topics on visual language – composition, color theory, line and movement. The workshop also includes exercises in perceiving and mastering light. Through the hands-on activities, Sara will also teach the skills and tools to better evoke your unique style. Gain as well an in-depth look into the highly competitive industry.

Explore the art of light and photography, and refine your eye for beautiful scenes and portraitures through FPLA’s “Seeing the Light.” The whole-day workshop (9am-5pm) is open to all participants – seasoned photographers, photography enthusiasts and hobbyists. Two classes will be hosted at First Pacific Leadership Academy at Km 27 Sumulong Highway, Antipolo City, on May 6, 2017 and June 10, 2017.
