It has been an exciting and productive year for RC Manila Bonifacio Drive District 3810.Over the past months, Rotary club of Manila Bonifacio drive has been active to community services.
ALL Star President Minnie Reyes’ recent Mini farm and hygiene promotion activity to the students of Saint Francis Learning Center ( club’s adopted community) in zambales was a success. They also partnered with Korean Red Cross for “International Volunteer Activity”.
THE joint project between Korean Red Cross and RC Manila Bonifacio Drive in partnership with Philippine Red Cross -Pasay Chapter last December was able to make more than 1,300 underserved students of Marcela Marcelo Elementary School happy receiving school supplies, food and medical attention.The activity also includes the improvement of classrooms , library and toilets. Other activities the club spearheaded during Minnie Reyes’ term are Nutrition Drive to Lapulapu Elementary School in Manuguit , Little Sisters of the Abandoned Elderly, Tomas Morato Elem.School , all supported by WHIRLPOOL.
Blood letting drive, basic life support training , disaster preparedness was also done possible in partnership with Philippine Red Cross Bulacan Caloocan Pasay and Manila and Cavite Chapters.
On Feb.15, 2017 true to its advocacy Rotary Serving Humanity , RC Manila Bonifacio.Drive signed a MOA for Match Clubs.It is a mutual joint undertaking between the club and RC Remedios Circle ASP Arceli Ang , RC Manila South ASP Cecilia Larita , RC Manila Midtown ASP Julia Miranda and RC Lubang Island ASP Annie Dimalibot. RIDistrict 3810 Governor Ernest Yuyek and his team are busy once again as they welcome all delegates and guests To the Discon 2017 held in Sofitel last March 31-April1. RC Manila Bonifacio Drive initiated the installation of banners from bonifacio drive along roxas blvd. To ensure guests from other nations they are welcomed and appreciated. .
