Disney announces release date for Frozen 2 and we can’t let it go

After the massive global success of the animated film Frozen, Disney announced in 2015 that fans will be seeing more of Elsa and Anna (with Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven) in the sequel of the highly-acclaimed film.

Just recently, Disney announced that fans will have to wait until November 27, 2019 to catch the much-awaited sequel in cinemas.

Frozen 2 will take us back to Arendelle along with beloved cast members, Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell, who will reprise their roles as Elsa and Anna. Josh Gad will also be back as our flurry friend Olaf, and Jennifer Lee is slated to direct the film again.

Aside from Frozen 2, Disney also revealed dates of some of their upcoming motion pictures:

The live action version of The Lion King is set to be released on July 19, 2019, and will be directed by Jon Favreau who previously directed The Jungle Book. Check out the list of the upcoming live-action adaptation of Disney animated movies here.

The force will be strong on May 24, 2019 when Star Wars: Episode IX comes out on theaters and will end another era as it completes the recent Star Wars trilogy.

November 25, 2020 will be the big day for Gigantic. The retelling of Jack and the Beanstalk will be directed by Meg LeFauve and Nathan Greno.

Ralph and Vanellope will surely break the internet when Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck It Ralph 2 makes its way to cinemas on November 21, 2018.

People will be in for another adventure in the upcoming live-action film Magic Camp on April 6, 2018.
