The Campus Press as engine of Democracy

INKBLOTS POSTER

The Varsitarian, the 88-year-old official student publication of the University of Santo Tomas, invites you to the 18th Inkblots on Dec. 19 to 21 at the Thomas Aquinas Research Complex Auditorium, UST, España, Manila.

Inkblots is the annual gathering of campus journalists, journalism and communication enthusiasts, and media practitioners under one roof to discuss new trends and issues in the media landscape. This year’s Inkblots will tackle the role of campus press as an engine of democracy. It will discuss how campus journalists, like mainstream media, can contribute to the national discourse and promote good governance.

Inkblots speakers will share their expertise through sessions in news writing, feature writing, sports writing, and photojournalism, among many others.

Register now for only P1,600.00, inclusive of the Inkblots fellowship kit, lunch, and snacks. Limited slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Walk-in registrations are prohibited.

For more inquiries, you may contact Angela Coloma (0977.6498.442), Winona Sadia (0916.7917.582), or the Varsitarian office at 406-1611, loc. 8235. You may also e-mail [email protected].
