February 25th, 2016 – Singapore – Young and Heartless teamed up with Alternative Press to exclusively premiere their new song “Punch Drunk (LOA)” today! To stream the new song, head here: https://bit.ly/1Um5vWu

The song is taken from the band’s upcoming album Stay Away, which will be released on March 25th, 2016 and is now available for pre-order here: smarturl.it/StayAwayiTunes.

“Punch Drunk was inspired by a seemingly never ending staircase/labyrinth found in Danielewski’s “House of Leaves”, in which the characters are convinced the staircase is leading to somewhere but all that is found is identical rooms and anticlimactic surprises. In essence, the song describes dealing with the simplicity and brevity of life while desperately trying to appear calm and cool. Fear that your life is leaving you quicker than you would like, while giving pieces of yourself away, hoping to seem normal.” – Jeremy Henninger (vocals/guitar)

Young and Heartless also released a brand new song and music video for “Fevers”. Fans can check out the new video at this link:

On the album, the band states, “Our new album ‘Stay Away’ is an emotional rabbit-hole, and writing it as well as listening to it now, we continually find ourselves in a different place than we expected. It compliments our past, but as a whole it was a radical change in our songwriting. Working with Will Yip was a pleasure; he is nothing short of a visionary. Not only did he work with us to create a great sounding album, he believed in the entire project.”

The band is currently gearing up to head out on tour this spring with Saosin.
