FAR EAST MOVEMENT DIRTY BASS SPECIAL EDITION

NOW AVAILABE IN CDs AND ONLINE VIA SMART MUSIC AND iTunes!!!

Far East Movement first claim to fame was their song ‘Round Round’ featured in the Hollywood movie, ‘The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift’, and its subsequent soundtrack, video game and DVD.

Since then, the group has been featured on various network shows including ‘CSI: Miami’, ‘CSI: NY’, ‘Entourage’, ‘Gossip Girl’, and ‘Finishing the Game’. Their single ‘Like a G6′ hit number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart, as well as iTunes, in late October 2010. Far East Movement also has the distinction of being the first Asian-American group to earn a number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States.

‘Dirty Bass’ is their finest moment yet. The first single, ‘Live My Life’ is an anthemic all-night dance party featuring Justin Bieber, who was introduced to the group by Snoop Dogg. Already a fan, Bieber and Far East Movement meshed beautifully over a track from red-hot RedOne (Nikki Minaj, Usher, Lady Gaga, J-Lo). It reached the top 20 of the Billboard charts and number two on US iTunes and number seven on UK iTunes almost instantly.

With Dirty Bass’ topping charts all over the world, including Australian ARIA Albums Chart, Belgian Albums Chart, Belgian Albums Chart, Canadian Albums Chart, German Albums Chart, Japanese Albums Chart, Swiss Albums Chart, US Billboard 200, Far East Movement are now back with this special edition album with new track, The Illest’; which features Riff Raff.

Dirty Bass is the fourth studio album by American hip hop group Far East Movement, released through Cherrytree Records (Universal Music Group) and Interscope Records (Universal Music Group). Despite having two top 40 hit singles, the album received mixed success worldwide.

The songs “Like a G6” and “Rocketeer” from the 2010 album Free Wired are included on some versions.

Last July 23, 2013, Far East Movement premieres the music video for “The Illest,” created through a first-of-its-kind partnership with Maker Studios, the world’s largestmulti-channel network of online video content. “We had a bad week at work, so we decided to terrorize our office with Riff Raff, Lil Debbie, some magic we chemically engineered and a crazy group of goons we met online,” says Kev Nish.

Brian Lee, GM of Maker Music adds, “We were so excited to team up with Far East Movement, and are thrilled to premiere the video on the Maker Music network. Maker is the first multi-channel network to produce, collaborate and distribute a leading music artist’s video and we are looking forward to more of these collaborations-tapping into the group’s loyal fan base along with out talent’s hugely engaged audience is a reach unlike any other.”

Director Mike Clattenburg stated, “I jumped at the chance to work with Maker again and when I heard ‘The Illest,’ I was floored by the authenticity of the song–it reminded me why I love rap, so I was thrilled to do the video.” “This was also my second time working with Riff Raff – he’s such a creative genius and a force of nature – along with Lil Deb – who brings a fresh sense of style and attitude to the video.”

The song, which premiered in May on Complex, is from Far East Movement’s Re-mixtape GRZZLY and has already charted on the Top 10 of the iTunes Dance chart. Download GRZZLY here: https://bit.ly/15RE2m6
